Hi. How are you today. My name is Byron and I live in Ecuador. My native language is Spanish and I also speak English fluently. I would be happy to help you speak and practice Spanish. I like to have classes that are simple and pleasant; I think that one of the ways that we can learn another language is through the culture, food and everything related with it. I like to have the classes according to your needs. Although practicing I think is the best way to learn. I graduated to Francisco de Orellana Superior Technical Institute in Puyo, Ecuador. After that I spent much of my time to volunteer teaching (19 years). I have also attended some courses that have helped me to improve my teaching techniques. . Just contact me and I'll be happy to start anytime. Byron

I work with personalized and creative material to provide more opportunity for meaningful learning, so it is very important that when you select a class with me, you write to me explaining your motivations, interests, level and class preference (if you have one). Thank you. Do not hesitate to write if you have questions. Nos vemos en clase. Chao =)

Hi all: My name is Yolanda, I'm from Madrid (Spain) although I'm currently living in Portugal. I have a Degree in Education and a Master's Degree in Addressing Diversity Issues and Educational Support. But my learning experience is always an ongoing process, that's why I'm taking a course to improve my knowledge of how to teach Spanish to Foreigners, as well as other courses that I have already done and related to teaching Spanish as a Second Language. I'm a qualified teacher with three years of experience in England, teaching English and Spanish to students with learning difficulties, and also with experience as a private tutor, teaching Spanish face to face and online, mainly to teenagers and adults. Teaching is my passion, is what I really enjoy doing, and helping others to learn not only my mother tongue, but also my culture and traditions, is what I've been doing for the past three years. I will teach you how to write and communicate accurately, but not only that, as you will need to know our culture and values to understand how to interact with other Spanish speakers. I will help you to pass your exam, if that's what you need, but from a dynamic perspective, and using your strength, your hobbies, to bring you all the opportunities that you can need in order to learn Spanish. I use multiples resources (videos, activities, comics, songs, poetry, presentations, among others) to teach you, but always taking into account your needs and your likes. I focused always in you as a learner of a foreign language. I can adapt myself to the students, and my experience as a teacher in SEN Schools, modifiging the curriculum to those who struggled the most, has given me the tools and knowledge to do so while teaching Spanish. I have also experience learning other languages, so I have a pretty clear view of what you want and what you need to succeed. So, I will walk with you through the learning path, to guide you and proposing as many activities and resources you need to reach your goal. I hope to see you soon. Yolanda.
