关于我

I am currently working in Busan, South Korea. I have been here for 6 years and enjoy teaching all range of students. I would say my specialty is teaching students at the intermediate conversation level. I currently teach at a university, previously, I taught at a high school and a number of academies. I have received most of my education in New York City. I graduated with a Liberal Arts Degree from Hunter College and I pursued the CELTA course in the summer of 2011. My first official teaching job was at Zoni Language Center in Flushing, Queens, and then I moved to South Korea to teach here in Busan. I love the passion of the South Korean students drive and desire to learn, so it still inspires to this day.
Currently, I am in a Master's Program with a concentration in Applied Linguistics with TESOL from Texas A&M University-Commerce. The main campus is in Commerce, Texas. I have taken courses in Syntax, Sociolinguistics, General Applied Linguistics, learning teaching, and a class on research in APA format.
My current teaching philosophy encompasses technology that can be used inside and outside the classroom as a tool for learning. Classroom interaction is something that I believe to be of utmost importance. I firmly believe that all students can learn, so long as we meet them where they are. In language teaching this is no different. Provided that we as educators are willing to put in the work necessary to meet every student at his or her individual level, language learning can occur.

Who I can teach? My focus is Korean and Japanese students ages 5 and up!
