My roots run deep in Italy. Born and raised in Rome, I experienced a wonderful education in the public school and University system while enjoying the local artistic scenery, such as the fantastic Roman ancient ruins, the local Museum, art gallery, Italian Fashion and the wonderful weather and the Italian lifestyle. Since 2010 I started living between England and Rome, studying English and enthusiastic of the British culture I started my first teaching experience in the local English schools and my first art exhibitions in the local Museums.
In my free time I love to travel, I visited 18 countries: 15 countries in EU, 1 in Northern America and 3 in Asia.
I have obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and a Master Art Education Degree from Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, in Rome in 2009 and in order to teach In England in state maintained schools I have gained a qualified teacher status (QTS) in 2012. Since 2016 I have been using educational technology in a teaching online project. My role here was to teach Italian one to one for beginners and for conversational Italian. As an Art specialist and an Artist, I specialised in Italian and Art. Currently I am working as an online Tutor, Supply Teacher and as an Artist and Fashion Designer.
My Lessons & Teaching Style
As an artist and teacher I am always seeking to learn more about people, culture and artistic expression. Art as a means of expression is a tool that allows us to communicate in our society with all people from different social classes, cultures, ages.
Everyone in the classroom contributes as a student, teacher, and thinker. I learn from students as much they learn from me.I want my students to know that I care about them and respect their work. I wish to create this atmosphere by using positive reinforcement of the students’ creative choices at the same time giving ideas about ways to improve their work even further.
